Sports betting at B777: odds, margin and the small print of betting bonuses
If your B777 account shows a sports section, it works like any sportsbook: you choose an event, a market and a price. We cannot confirm which sports, leagues or markets you will see, because that depends on the account and the country. What we can explain is what holds at any bookmaker: how to read odds, what the margin is, how live betting works and, above all, what conditions betting bonuses carry.

Multiply your stake by decimal odds and you get the total return if you win. Illustrative example, not a B777 condition: $20 at 1.80 returns $36; at 3.20, $64. Odds also tell you the probability the bookmaker assigns: 1 divided by the odds. Odds of 2.00 imply 50%.
| Format | Example | How to read it |
|---|---|---|
| Decimal | 2.50 | Total return = stake × 2.50 |
| Fractional | 3/2 | Win 3 per 2 staked, plus your stake |
| American | +150 | Win 150 per 100 staked |
The margin: why the bookmaker always gets paid
Add up the implied probabilities of every outcome in a market and the total exceeds 100%. The excess is the bookmaker's margin. Illustrative example: a match priced 2.10 (home), 3.30 (draw) and 3.60 (away) gives 47.6% + 30.3% + 27.8% = 105.7%, a margin of roughly 5.7%. Comparing margins across markets on the same betting line shows you where betting costs you less.
Live betting and cash out
In-play bets are placed while the event is running and live odds change constantly. They are fast and tempting, so decide your stake before the event starts. Cash out lets you settle early for an amount the bookmaker sets, usually with a margin in its favour. With a bonus active, check whether cash out is allowed: many promotions block it or stop counting that bet toward wagering.
Betting bonuses: the conditions that matter
- Minimum odds: only selections at or above a set price count, for example 1.50 or more.
- Accumulators: some promotions require multiples with a minimum number of selections.
- Free bet: usually only the winnings are paid, not the free bet stake.
- Odds boosts (on accumulators, the "acca boost") and bet insurance: one-off offers with their own caps and requirements.
Illustrative example, not a B777 condition: a $30 betting bonus with 5x rollover and 1.70 minimum odds requires $150 of bets at 1.70 or above. Bets at 1.40 clear nothing. General bonus rules are in bonus terms.
Sports and bet types
Before betting on any sport, read the operator's betting rules once: they cover postponed matches, retirements and voided markets. We have guides by sport and one on bet types. Football has the deepest markets everywhere; basketball and tennis offer different structures; cricket is huge in some regions and barely followed in others.
